75th Anniversary

4th May, 2025

Please join us at St John's Parish in Silkwood in 2025 to mark the 75th year of celebration in Australia. Sunday will see a concelebrated Italian Mass with Apostolic Nuncio Archbishop Balvo, Bishop Joe Caddy and Father Kerry Crowley. In the afternoon, there will be a Solemn Procession through Silkwood, followed by an English Mass, and then the Blessing and Veneration of the relics of the Three Saints.

Other festivities include a barbecue, with traditional Sicilian Italian food, stalls and entertainment and, of course, at 7:30pm will herald the lighting of the night skies with a brilliant fireworks display. Everyone is welcome to attend.
